Hard Pomodoro Mode

The star feature of this release is the Hard Pomodoro mode for macOS. We’ve all had those moments when we’re so deeply immersed in a project that time flies by, and breaks are easily forgotten. In Hard Pomodoro mode, once a work session ends, your screen will be completely blocked, leaving you unable to continue working on other tasks. This forces you to take a break, though you do have the option to extend the work session by five minutes. This mode functions as your personal productivity coach, strictly following the time intervals of the Pomodoro Technique. It ensures you stay on schedule, skillfully balancing focused work sessions with much-needed breaks. This not only helps prevent burnout but also keeps your efficiency levels consistent throughout the workday.

Shortcuts for macOS

We understand that every second counts when you’re in the zone. That’s why we’ve introduced a powerful shortcuts feature for the MacOS App. With just a few keystrokes, you can effortlessly start or stop a Pomodoro session or navigate through various views. These shortcuts streamline your workflow, eliminating the need for repetitive clicks and allowing you to focus on what truly matters—getting things done.

Today View: Your Daily Task Command Center

The revamped Kanban Board now includes a dedicated Today view, a game-changer for daily task management. This view aggregates all incomplete work items created today, those that are set to expire by tomorrow, and any that have already passed their due dates. It presents a clear, at-a-glance overview of your daily priorities, enabling you to plan your day effectively and ensure nothing falls through the cracks.

Key Improvements

One of the most notable enhancements in Pomo one 2.0 is the overhaul of the Kanban drag-and-drop functionality. We’ve refined the user experience to make task movement between columns smoother and more intuitive than ever before. Whether you’re re-prioritizing tasks, categorizing them into different stages, or simply tidying up your board, the improved drag-and-drop feature makes the process seamless, enhancing your overall interaction with the app.
